Bolthouse Farms, one of the largest producers of baby carrots and premium juice beverages in North America, announced the launch of 1915, a new brand of organic ultra-premium cold-pressed juice that harkens back to the year the Bolthouse family began its commercial farm operation. The 1915 line, that includes five cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juice flavors, is in direct response to the growing juice trend and consumers’ preference for clean ingredients, greater transparency in what they are consuming and convenience, at a more affordable price.
“Expanding into the ultra-premium organic juice category with the launch of 1915 underscores our commitment to inspiring healthy eating by making high quality products made from fruits and vegetables for every lifestyle,” said Jeff Dunn, President of Campbell Fresh Division. “By making cold-pressed organic juice more affordable and widely available to consumers, we can continue to make the healthy choice the easy choice.”
1915 is the first innovation creation by Bolthouse Farms under the new Campbell Fresh Division (C-Fresh) of the Campbell Soup Company. The division, which includes the recently acquired Garden Fresh Gourmet brand of salsa and hummus, and Bolthouse Farms portfolio of fresh carrots, super-premium refrigerated beverages, salad dressings and kids snacks, focuses on building the company’s scale and accelerating growth in rapidly expanding packaged fresh food and beverage categories that resonates with today’s consumer.
Packed in distinctive 12oz BPA-free bottles, 1915 juice blends are USDA certified organic and made with non-GMO ingredients. With no more than 6 ingredients per bottle, each juice contains a balance of colorful, nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables:
• Romaine with spinach, apple, cucumber, lemon and kale
• Carrot with apple, lemon, ginger and coriander
• Beet with carrot, orange and lemon
• Pineapple with coconut, mango, avocado and lemon
• Blueberry with strawberry, coconut, apple, spinach and blackberry
The juices contain no added artificial sweeteners, and are both vegan and gluten-free. High pressure processing (HPP) is used to help preserve nutrients, maintain food safety and extend shelf life for up to 45 days. HPP is a natural, environmentally friendly process that respects the ingredient and helps maintain the fresh food characteristics like flavor and nutrients.
1915 is currently available nationwide and regionally at select Walmart, Target and Meijer stores with greater national retail distribution anticipated for early 2016. The current SRP is $4.49 per 12oz bottle. To learn more about 1915 visit www.1915organic.com.
