New management for Indag pouch machine and plant engineers
On January 1, 2017 Dirk Hejnal took over the management of Indag, the machine and plant engineers based in Eppelheim. As the market leader for high-speed pouch filling machines, Indag develops and builds modern process systems as well as pouch machines for the beverage, food and animal feed industries.
Since the start of the year Dirk Hejnal, 50, has been the new Managing Director of Indag, a company in the Capri-Sun Group Holding AG of Zug, Switzerland.
On January 1, 2017 Dirk Hejnal took over the management of Indag, the machine and plant engineers based in Eppelheim. As the market leader for high-speed pouch filling machines, Indag develops and builds modern process systems as well as pouch machines for the beverage, food and animal feed industries.
Hejnal, who was born in the German region of Westphalia, has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing equipment for the food and beverage industries. His career began in various European subsidiaries of GEA. In 1992, he moved to work for the company in the USA. Hejnal returned to Germany in 2008 in order to take up a global role for the GEA Group. For the past two years Dirk Hejnal has been working in the automotive supply industry.
In the course of his career, Hejnal has been responsible for restructuring engineering companies to become technological solution providers and he has also undertaken expansion projects. His role has also included the integration of newly acquired companies with several production sites.
At Indag, Hejnal now wishes to make use of the expertise he has acquired to date, particularly in a corporate environment, to successfully lead the Eppelheim-based company to a growth strategy in the future. He reports to Roland Weening, CEO of Capri-Sun Group Holding AG in Zug.
