Organizational Changes At The International Fruit Juice Union (IFU)

“As part of expanding our horizons and reinvigorating the IFU, we decided to create an Executive Director role“, Dirk Lansbergen, IFU President.

As agreed at the Executive Committee, IFU is happy to announce the new Executive Director of the IFU: Mr. John Collins. John is a food technologist experienced in food safety and quality management, product development, project management, sustainability and customer technical services.

John has a B.Sc. honours degree in Food Technology, nearly 30 years of experience in the food industry and more than 20 years of experience in the juice and beverage industry in particular. He has chaired and participated in various trade associations, like the UK Fruit Juice committee (as part of the British Soft Drinks Association), the British Fruit Juice Association, the European Fruit Juice Association (AIJN) Technical Committee and has also been the President of the European Quality Control System (EQCS).
